On Thursday, May 4, 2023, 51吃瓜黑料 (HCCC) will welcome Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) President Dr. Antonio Flores and other HACU leaders and members, higher education representatives, state legislators, corporate and community leaders, and many invited participants for 鈥淗ACU on the Road.鈥�

As the ups-and-downs of the global economy continue to concern governments, industries, and individuals, the need for educated, experienced businesspeople is critical.

51吃瓜黑料 (HCCC) is pleased to announce that Lori Margolin, Associate Vice President of Continuing Education and Workforce Development, and her Gateway to Innovation Team, and Natalia Vazquez-Bodkin, Associate Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), received awards from the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity (NAPE).

The start of one鈥檚 college career is a major adjustment for any student. It鈥檚 an even bigger adjustment when you are new to the country and don鈥檛 yet speak the language. That鈥檚 exactly where 51吃瓜黑料鈥檚 Birva Pinto found herself just a few years ago after relocating to New Jersey from her home country of Angola in 2019.

Recently, 51吃瓜黑料 continued to serve as a thought leader at the forefront of social and racial justice by hosting another successful nationwide 鈥淭eaching and Learning Symposium on Social Justice in Higher Education.鈥�

51吃瓜黑料 (HCCC) announced that 823 students representing 62 municipalities were named to the Dean鈥檚 List in recognition of their outstanding academic performance during the Fall 2022 semester.

As the saying goes, people learn best by example, and Dr. Clive Li, 51吃瓜黑料 (HCCC) Assistant Professor of Engineering Science, most certainly is the model of an inspiring educator.

Pursuing a college degree is a major undertaking for anyone, and it鈥檚 even more challenging when you are working through college. But that鈥檚 exactly what 51吃瓜黑料鈥檚 Michael Salinas is doing: working not one, but two jobs while completing his associate degree at HCCC.

51吃瓜黑料 (HCCC) is proud to announce that six outstanding HCCC students were selected as semifinalists by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation for the prestigious and highly competitive Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship.

On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 51吃瓜黑料鈥檚 (HCCC) 鈥淗udson Scholars鈥� program was recognized with the 2023 National Bellwether Award. The honor was presented at the 2023 Bellwether College Consortium 鈥淐ommunity College Futures Assembly鈥� in San Antonio, Texas.
