February 4, 2026, Jersey City, NJ 鈥 51吃瓜黑料 (HCCC) has hired two head basketball coaches with winning records who are committed to player development. The coaches were hired as the College prepares to inaugurate an athletics program at the HCCC Center for Student Success, which is currently under construction.

51吃瓜黑料 has hired Carlos Cueto as Women鈥檚 Basketball Head Coach (left), and Ethan Nardone as Men鈥檚 Basketball Head Coach.
Carlos Cueto, the Head Coach for HCCC Women鈥檚 Basketball, is revered as a player and coach. The former University of Richmond point guard finished his playing career 鈥#3 All-Time鈥 in assists. He was named All-County at St. Anthony鈥檚 High School in Jersey City, where he played on two state championship teams. Mr. Cueto coached Union City Girls鈥 Basketball to state sectional and league championships. He mentored many student athletes who earned athletic and academic scholarships.
The two-time 鈥淗udson County Coach of the Year鈥 led Secaucus High School Boys鈥 Basketball to their first league championship in over 20 years. His basketball academy in Union City helps youth ages nine and up improve their game. Mr. Cueto taught History and Financial Literacy at Union Hill High School. He holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Supervision and Administration in Education from Saint Peter鈥檚 University and Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Political Science from University of Richmond.
Ethan Nardone, the Head Coach for HCCC Men鈥檚 Basketball, is a National Basketball Association operations specialist who coached National College Athletics Association (NCAA) Divisions I and III, and high school teams. Mr. Nardone led the Abraham Joshua Heschel School Boys鈥 Varsity Basketball to their first postseason appearance since 2019 and coached two Yeshiva League Pass All-Star game selections. As Men鈥檚 Basketball Video Coordinator for Iona College, he tracked game defensive efficiency and strategic adjustments and maintained a recruiting database, scouting reports, and player practice breakdowns. Mr. Nardone was the Assistant Men鈥檚 Basketball Coach for State University of New York Canton and Potsdam teams, and Franklin and Marshall College. In these roles, he rebuilt rosters, helped improve player scoring range, and led teams to winning seasons. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Stony Brook University and attended St. John鈥檚 University School of Law.
In their new roles at HCCC, the coaches will manage their programs, monitor student athletes鈥 academic progress, promote a culture that fosters academic achievement, and protect the programs鈥 integrity. They will evaluate and recruit potential student athletes, and develop character, sport skills, and athleticism. The coaches will assess opponents and create and implement practice plans and game strategies. Lastly, they will engage in fundraising, adhere to NJCAA regulations, and provide safe and effective food and transportation management during competition travel.
The HCCC Center for Student Success is a 153,186-square-foot, mixed use tower under construction in Journal Square. Its full-size NCAA gymnasium, fitness center, walking track, and athletic training facility will accommodate HCCC sports programs. The Center will also include 24 classrooms, expanded student services areas, black box theater, health sciences labs, conference rooms, offices, and a university center for baccalaureate and graduate instruction.
The HCCC Office of Athletics, led by Jonathan Sisk, will begin basketball competitions and develop men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 volleyball programs in 2027.
